Chemical Engineering Students!

Are you interested in being a part of the Chemical Engineering Student Society? The society is holding an election for next year’s society executives. We are now accepting nominations for these positions until March 22nd at 23:59.

The available positions and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Vice-President Internal

   Responsibilities:

   1. Assist in the coordination and long term planning of the activities of the society

   2. Act as a liaison between Dalhousie organizations, and societies

2. Vice-President External

   Responsibilities:

   1. Be responsible for the coordination and long term planning of the activities of the society

   2. Act as a liaison between external organizations and the society

3. VP Finance

   Responsibilities:

   1. Keep and maintain the financial books and accounts of the Society, containing accurate records of all financial transactions

   2. Supervise administration of society funds

4. Secretary

   Responsibilities:

   1. Record and submit an accurate account of the proceedings of the society's meetings

5. Final Year/Fifth Year Class Rep

   Responsibilities:

   1. Meet bi-weekly with the department head to raise any concerns about courses

   2. Attend bi-weekly Engineering Society Council meetings

The election timeline is as follows:

• Nomination Period: March 18 to March 22

• Campaign Period: March 22 to March 25

• Voting Period: March 26 – March 29
