Melda Murray Student Centre (MMSC)


The MMSC is the student success centre of Sexton campus and offers counselling to students on various subjects, hold workshops and events geared towards students, and offer bookable and drop in study or event spaces.

Services & Supports

During operating hours, you can walk into the MMSC at any time and talk to someone about setting up an appointment to suit your needs! Alternatively, students can make free one-on-one appointments with an advisor for a wide range of services, including:

Book a Space

Whether for a group meeting, a tutoring session, or a scheduled gathering, spaces in the MMSC can be reserved ahead of time by students.

The Meeting Room

The meeting space fits 10-12 people comfortably.  The space is equipped with modular tables, a large white board, dry erase markers, projection screen and projector. There is a small sink/cupboard area and coffee maker.

Study Space

The study space is equipped with the same modular tables and chairs as well as four white boards and dry erase markers/erasers.

Note: unless study spaces are reserved, the tables are available to drop-ins between 9 am - 3:30pm.

You'll find us down the hall from the cafe and before the stairs to the gym in Room A109, A/B Building, 1360 Barrington Street.
