Structure of Canadian Engineering Student Societies

The Canadian engineering student societies are structured to foster collaboration and support among engineering students.

At the top is the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students (CFES), representing students nationally, advocating for their interests, and providing networking and development opportunities.

Below CFES is Atlantic Canadian Engineering Students (ACES), which focuses on regional issues, hosting events and workshops for Atlantic Canada’s engineering community.

At the local level, the Dalhousie Undergraduate Engineering Society (DUES) serves Dalhousie’s engineering students, organizing events and advocating for their needs.

This structure ensures a cohesive approach to student support at both regional and national levels.
