The Vice President Academic works closely with the Assistant Dean of Students to inform students about available academic services and address any issues that arise. The VP maintains records of issues with professors in the Faculty of Engineering and represents DUES at Undergraduate Studies Committee meetings. They coordinate student recognition for faculty, staff, and teaching assistants, and oversee the Tutoring Program, including coordinating interviews and selecting the program’s administrator. Additionally, the VP participates in the selection process for the Tutoring Program Coordinator, supervises roles such as the Tutoring Coordinator and VP Academics of discipline societies, reports directly to the President, and contributes to special DUES projects as needed.
