The Vice President Social is responsible for organizing and chairing all extracurricular and social activities for DUES, collaborating with active members to plan events throughout the year. This includes organizing joint events with other Sexton ratified societies of the DSU and overseeing major events such as the Engineering Fall Banquet, Iron Ring Ceremony, Engibeering, E-Week, and Orientation. The VP also ensures photos from these events are shared on DUES's social media, website, and yearbook. They maintain up-to-date event budgets and coordinate with the VP Finance & Operations, chair the Engineering Orientation Day if serving during the Fall Semester, report directly to the President, and contribute to special DUES projects as needed.
